Signs of eye issues in cats can include redness, swelling, discharge, squinting, excessive tearing, cloudiness in the eye, or your cat pawing at their eyes. If you notice any of these symptoms, it's important to schedule an appointment with our ophthalmology team to diagnose and treat the issue promptly.
Regular eye check-ups are important for maintaining your cat's vision. Ensuring a clean environment, careful use of house cleaning products and other uses of chemicals and substances are safety steps to reduce the risk of infections. A balanced diet rich in essential nutrients is equally important for cats as it is for humans. If you primarily feed your cats cat food, consider reevaluating the overall nutritional value of their diet.
